OTTAWA, CANADA:
In early March, as part of the SIRCUIT 2001 World Tour,
Rob Gallaher, Director of Marketing and Sales, represented
SIRC at the Joint Commission on Sports Medicine. Held this
year in Indianapolis, the annual forum welcomes representatives
from the Sports Medicine and Science communities to share
their work, to learn what others are doing in the field
and to debate the issues that will affect the future of
the sports medicine profession.
Other attendees included Anita DeFrantz of
the International Olympic Committee., Jim Whitehead of the
American College of Sports Medicine and Brian Halpern from
the American Medical Association of Sports Medicine.
The three-day meetings proved to be a successful

and some of the organizations in attendance. Initially SIRC
