SIRC Researcher Database
The SIRC Researcher Database is a collection of sport researchers from universities and institutions across Canada spanning all fields of sport research. This database is designed to aid Canadian sport researchers by making available to them, a site with a sport specific focus which allows for viewing of posted research grants/requests for proposals and the opportunity to create liaisons with peers.
Access to the Sport Researcher components of the SIRC member's area presents two distinct new features:
- Sport Research RFP Database
Provides a comprehensive, searchable, and organized collection of sport research grants and proposals from Sport Canada. These postings are viewable only by researchers within the database.
- Sport Researcher Database
Provides a database of researchers, searchable by name, field of study, organization, province, or language. The profiles of the researchers are viewable only by others within the database.
To join the researcher database and gain access to these current features, simply register for a SIRC membership. Applicants must be associated with a Canadian research institution. When filling out the membership application form, check the designated box to apply for inclusion in SIRC's Researcher Database.
